The world’s first fully demountable football stadium is an astonishing achievement. One of stadiums that will host World Cup matches starting in November, Stadium 974 has been designed with cost-effectiveness in mind and is constructed from shipping containers – 974 of them, hence the name – and modular steel which enables swift construction and equally fast deconstruction.

Favourites for the tournament are, unsurprisingly, Brazil, with France, Spain, and England next in the bookmaker’s order.
