Liga das Nações, criada em 2018, é um dos torneios internacionais de futebol mais emocionantes. Substituindo os antigos amistosos internacionais, ela reúne as 55 seleções nacionais da Europa em um formato altamente competitivo, que inclui promoções, rebaixamentos e fases eliminatórias nas etapas finais. O principal objetivo foi introduzir um maior nível de competitividade durante os períodos de intervalo entre grandes torneios internacionais como a Euro e a Copa do Mundo.

One of eight stadiums being converted or constructed for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Khalifa International Stadium is one of the most spectacular of all. Also known as the National Stadium, it is located in the capital, Doha. The stadium forms part of a wider sports complex – Doha Sports City – and is the first such building in the world to be awarded a four-star rating from the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS.) As with all the Qatar stadiums there has been plenty made of the aim to ensure they are carbon-neutral and eco-friendly.

Located in the city of Al Rayyan, Qatar, is one of the most spectacular of all the stadiums that this tiny country has built or converted for the 2022 World Cup competition which takes place in November and December in eight venues across Qatar. It is named the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. The beautiful and original design incorporates many symbols important in Qatari culture, reflecting the location as a close-knit community with a rich cultural history.

One of eight stadiums being readied for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Al Thumama Stadium is unique in that it is situated in a beautiful specially crated park. With 40,000 seats, the stadium will play host to several matches during the competition and, as with all Qatar’s stadiums, will be cooled using solar power.

The opening match of the much-anticipated FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar will take place at the sensational Al Bayt Stadium. With a capacity of 60,000 this uniquely designed facility is one of eight such stadiums that have been built or converted specifically for the World Cup.
